Effort Scale

Okay so the first question to ask yourself is: How much effort/time/energy do I want to put into this whole credit card points thing? Here's my scale:





Low Effort: I just want to get some credit card points for the occasional trip and not think too hard about it but I don't want to put in much time or effort. On a scale of [walking to running a marathon] this is like a nice brisk walk.


Medium Effort: I'm pretty intrigued by this whole thing so as long as it doesn't consume too much of my time, I'm totally here for it. Teach me. On a scale of [walking to running a marathon] this is like running a 5K.


High Effort: I want to learn everything about travel hacking, give me all the info about the 5/24 rules, strategies for maximizing bonus categories and SUBs. On a scale of [walking to running a marathon] this is like actually running a freakin marathon.


Extreme Effort: I'm just going to go ahead and quit my day job and start doing this instead. On a scale of [walking to running a marathon] this is like "Dude a marathon? Try a 100K. But uphill".
